*** About The Lions: The Lions are two distinctive mountain peaks located north of Vancouver, British Columbia. Known as Ch'ich'iyúy Elxwíkn to the local Squamish people, these peaks hold significant cultural importance and are a symbol of the area. Standing approximately 1,600 meters tall, these twin summits are beloved landmarks visible from much of the Greater Vancouver area, inspiring hikers, artists, and photographers. The eastern peak is known as the Lion's Bump or Thomas Peak, while the western peak, slightly taller, is referred to as the Lion or James Peak.
