*** About The Lions: The Lions are twin peaks located north of Vancouver and are one of the city's most famous natural landmarks. Named for their resemblance to two lion statues, these peaks are visible from much of the Greater Vancouver area, providing a stunning backdrop to the cityscape. Standing at elevations of approximately 1,606 meters (West Lion) and 1,646 meters (East Lion), they mark the highest points of the Lions Range, which is itself a part of the larger Coast Mountains.
